Allianz Global Assistance Embraces Motor Code Standards

Motor Codes is committed to helping the motor industry sustain high standards throughout the new and used car sales process. This includes the sale and administration of car warranties, and related products such as MOT cover, following approval by Trading Standards Institute of its Warranty Products Code. The training course, attended by Allianz Global Assistance employees from Sales, Claims, Customer Services and Underwriting covered all warranty products and confirms promises made by subscribing warranty administrators, regarding the administration of their products.

The Code sets subscriber rules for the advertising, sale and claim management of vehicle warranties, and the course is made up of four main sections including Advertising, Point-of-sale Obligations, Clarity of Information - such as terms and conditions – and Claims Handling of vehicle warranty products.
