Allianz Global Assistance Strengthens Sales Focus

Phil’s responsibilities as Head of Business Development has widened to include Motor as well as Travel, Health and Financial Services. Phil’s weatlh of industry experience and deep understanding of the business and its goals puts him in the ideal position to take the lead on maximising new business opportunities and driving forward new initiatives.

Rachel was first appointed as Account Manager for Allianz Global Assistance’s easyJet account, in 2009. She has been instrumental in the continued success of that partnership, focusing on increased sales and product development, as well as maintaining and nurturing relations between the companies. Rachel has managed other key business partnerships, including Aer Lingus, KLM and Air France, and played a key role in securing the business account with STA Travel when working with the New Business Team. With 13 years’ experience in reinsurance for QBE, Swiss Re, Mercantile & General and Prudential, Rachel has an excellent knowledge of the insurance market and an understanding which will continue to benefit Allianz Global Assistance.

Ben joined Allianz Global Assistance in 2012, moving from a successful ten year career at AVIVA UK where he occupied various roles from contact centre management to sales and business development and consultancy. Ben steps into the role of Head of Corporate Client, following his success as Business Development Manager Northern Europe for Allianz Global Assistance over the last year-and-a-half.
