Allianz Global Assistance, an international leader in Assistance, Travel Insurance and Health, Life & Home Care services, aims to give employers more flexibility to create an EB scheme which is right for their workers. This is at the heart of the solutions being showcased on stand 729 at Employee Benefits Live 2012, giving employers an insight into how benefits can be packaged to give staff a better selection of benefits to suit their needs. Allianz Global Assistance will also be launching an exciting new Family Homecare benefits package that goes beyond traditional home care packages.
A broad range of employers have worked with Allianz Global Assistance, previously known as Mondial Assistance, for a number of years, utilising its Motor Select and Travel Select benefits.  The flexibility of the options available to staff to select the most appropriate product for their needs and budget has been particularly welcomed by employers.  Now the range is being enhanced with Insured Family Homecare, which will be available from Allianz Global Assistance from 2013.

The first of its kind in the UK market, Allianz Global Assistance Insured Family Homecare offers up to six weeks of assistance at home in the event of an accident or unforeseen illness. This includes personal care, domestic help including meal preparation, and transport to and from the hospital for treatment and check-ups. Family Homecare also includes optional extensions to cover the employee’s partner and parents.

Motor Select roadside assistance and Travel Select leisure travel insurance allow companies to offer their staff a high quality, flexible and comprehensive roadside assistance and recovery service as well as adaptable travel insurance solutions. Staff can amend cover levels up or down for each product to suit changing requirements and cover all types of holidays – including golf, winter sports and scuba diving – all supported by international leader in assistance and travel insurance, Allianz Global Assistance.

Phil Carr, Head of Business Development at Allianz Global Assistance in the UK, comments: “These are very exciting times for Allianz Global Assistance, as we reach out into new markets to offer our growing list of Employee Benefits clients an even more comprehensive range of flexible benefit solutions for their staff. And the launch of our new Family Homecare product is a good example of this new innovation.

“Ahead of the main launch of Family Homecare we recently launched the product with one employee benefits solutions provider, which has given us valuable insight before we launch to the rest of the market in 2013.  We are looking forward to working with other providers to develop tailored solutions to meet their specific requirements.”
