Allianz Partners UK Launches Warranty Service to Used Car Owners

Allianz Partners UK, a trusted warranty provider used by 10 of the UK’s leading car brands, is launching its services direct to motorists. With three levels of cover, choice of excess payments and flexible payment plans, motorists can choose the warranty that suits their budget and their car.  Crucially, consumers can now benefit from the specialist expertise Allianz Partners has been providing to motor manufacturers for over 20 years.

Warranty is the latest product to be sold under the Allianz Global Assistance brand – already an established name in the travel insurance and roadside assistance industries. By visiting www.allianz-assistance.co.uk, consumers can choose from Essential, Standard and Comprehensive Car Warranty packages.

Kate Walker, Head of Strategic Market Management for Allianz Partners UK, comments, “Allianz Partners is a leading name in used car warranty but has, up until now, only benefited customers of some of the UK’s leading motoring brands as part of their customer ownership package. “Now though, our proven warranty expertise is available to motorists directly, through our growing online portal of assistance services, including Roadside Assistance.  Buying a car is one of the most expensive purchases most people make, so our range of car warranty cover helps customers take care of that investment.”

All levels of warranty include European driving cover, for added peace of mind on trips abroad. Essential Car Warranty is the most basic level of cover, protecting the fundamental integral parts of a car including engine, gearbox and driveline components - for a lower cost.  Customers can claim as many times as they need to up to the total of £5,000.

Standard Car Warranty adds braking and steering system cover, as well as clutch and suspension and covers the majority of the car’s factory-fitted components. The highest level of cover, Comprehensive Car Warranty, protects motorists from sudden failure of all factory-fitted mechanical and electrical components, making it ideal for drivers with a newer or premium car. Whether it’s an essential engine repair or faulty tech such as a Sat Nav or an in-car entertainment system, Comprehensive car warranty has it covered.  Motorists with Standard and Comprehensive cover can claim against any of the agreed items and more up, to the value of their vehicle.

Concludes Kate Walker: “Our new warranty packages help motorists ease the stress and financial burden of owning a car by making sure they are covered if something does go wrong.  Consumers will be confident that then they can rely on us to deliver an easy, reliable claims process, supported by quality cover when they need it most.”
