Allianz Partners enhances e-mobility services with GIREVE

GIREVE’s comprehensive solution to locate electric vehicle (EV) charging points will be integrated into Allianz Partners’ roadside assistance operations to better support EV drivers across the UK and Europe

Allianz Partners, a world leader in B2B2C insurance and assistance, is enhancing its roadside assistance offering for electric vehicle drivers with the ability to locate charging stations fully integrated into its incident management system. Boasting the greatest coverage of charging points across Europe, GIREVE provides  access to a comprehensive charging equipment database as well as real-time availability of charging spots and remote access to bookings.

With this new solution, Allianz Partners confirms its commitment to developing e-mobility services to better accompany EV drivers and offer high quality customer service. Allianz Partners aims to improve its customer experience by providing essential, high quality data such as real time updates on station availability and by displaying key information (access hour, type of connector, charging power, etc.).

The partnership, which was launched in France in January 2021 and is now being expanded across the UK and other countries in Europe, marks another milestone in Allianz Partners’ global strategy around electric mobility. This follows the company’s decision to join CharIN as a core member last year, in which members are working together to help shape the future of EV mobility and promote sustainable mobility worldwide.

Tim Tozer, CEO of Allianz Partners in the UK comments, “Given that we’re already deeply involved in the UK’s transition to more sustainable mobility, we are excited to see how the addition of GIREVE’s data to our systems and processes will help improve and simplify the customer experience of EV assistance. We are constantly adapting our services to reflect changes in customer behaviours and are committed to high-quality delivery. We’re confident that this will be maintained for our EV customers thanks to the effective management of our network charging stations.”

Armand Gallet, Business Development Manager at GIREVE adds, “We are happy to work with Allianz Partners and contribute to enhancing its EV services for drivers. An EV driver running out of battery needs dedicated assistance to locate compatible and available charging stations nearby. This is why the partnership between our companies is key in improving the driver experience and to keep on fostering EV adoption.”
